What We Did and How
Ecotope was hired to help make the Denning Apartments highly energy efficient within a relatively modest budget. Our innovative approach included:
- Rooftop central hot water system, where residential-scale heat pump water heaters harvest solar energy for domestic hot water
- Back-up high efficiency gas water heaters
- Naturally ventilated central corridors
