Stephanie Ruzicka

Junior Engineer

Stephanie is a Junior Engineer at Ecotope, bringing a strong academic foundation in mechanical engineering with a focus on thermal systems and energy efficiency. She recently earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she applied her expertise in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and building energy modeling to real-world design problems. Prior to joining Ecotope, she interned at Bently Nevada, contributing to the full product development cycle of a testing device and gaining hands-on experience in CAD, prototyping, and design for manufacturability. At Ecotope, Stephanie supports the Clean Buildings team with audit documentation, engineering support, and carbon reduction strategies for existing buildings. Passionate about addressing the climate crisis through practical, data-driven solutions, she is excited to contribute to Ecotope’s mission at the intersection of research, engineering, and policy.
