Senior Mechanical Engineer

Treasa Sweek is a senior mechanical engineer at Ecotope, where she manages a variety of mid-sized projects with a focus on decarbonizing existing buildings. With over 23 years of experience as a licensed mechanical engineer and certified commissioning professional, Treasa is a seasoned expert in the built environment. She specializes in conducting energy audits and commissioning projects to ensure building performance aligns with the owner’s objectives. Treasa has been a driving force behind the pursuit, contracting, technical execution, and project management for consulting, commissioning, and/or measurement and verification on more than 30 facilities. Her expertise spans all aspects of energy consulting, including new construction “green building” strategies, commissioning, existing building audits, and energy evaluations.

In her role on the Washington State Energy Technical Advisory Group, Treasa has played a pivotal leadership role in promoting commissioning as a critical component for optimizing the performance of both renovated and new buildings.
