Several members of the Ecotope team attended the ASHRAE winter conference in Chicago at the end of January.
Bob Davis and Ben Larson prepared and delivered an oral presentation as part of a Load-Based testing technical seminar. The presentation focused on both field and lab testing of ductless heat pumps, particularly the challenge of developing a more complete picture of system performance than is offered by the equipment’s labeled efficiency rating.
The conference also offered good opportunities to discuss research and other projects with colleagues and to see what new HVAC and data logging/sensing products are being developed.
