Research Engineer
Evan is highly experienced in applying commercial heat pump water heaters (CHPWH) to domestic hot water systems in multifamily and commercial buildings. As a member of Ecotope’s technology transformation team, he works closely with CHPWH manufacturers to optimize the design of new products and with utilities to test the efficiency and reliability of various plumbing configurations. He also performs post-installation monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting of CHPWH systems. He is a subject matter expert in Ecotope’s education and training program for developers, installers, and utilities.
