Director, Design and Engineering

Henry Odum leads Ecotope’s Design and Engineering team, helping to drive innovative, zero-carbon system designs. With a decade of experience in the industry, he has a proven track record of success in leading and managing teams of engineers to design, develop, and deliver sustainable solutions. He is known for his ability to effectively manage multiple projects and coordinate with diverse project teams and stakeholder groups. Tapping into his deep knowledge of energy modeling, he focuses his design work to maximize benefits to his clients – whether it be net-zero aspirations, maximizing utility incentives, or meeting green-building certification requirements.

Alongside his leadership role on Ecotope’s design team, he is a TAG member for the Washington State Building Code Council and plays a key role in developing and evaluating the State’s energy codes as it progresses towards the 70% energy reduction goals by 2030.
